Centro, through its social impact platform Alokanondo Foundation, today reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to child welfare by renewing its partnership with SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh for 2026, a press releases said.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) marking the continued collaboration was signed at the Centro Head Office on 25 June 2026. The signing was attended by Nicolas Anton, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Centro, Dewan Sazzadul Karim, Office Secretary of Alokanondo Foundation and Dr. Md. Enamul Haque, National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh.
The partnership, which began in 2020, reflects Centro’s continued commitment to investing in the well-being and development of underprivileged children across Bangladesh through structured social impact initiatives.
Centro has sponsored 10 children under the direct care of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh since 2020, contributing to their upbringing, education, and overall development. Building on this commitment, in 2023 Centro extended its support to 10 Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centres operated by SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh. Through this support, more than 750 vulnerable children have already benefitted from early learning, care, and nurturing environments that help lay the foundation for a brighter future.
The renewed partnership for 2026 will enable the continuation of these vital programmes, ensuring that more children gain access to quality early childhood development and a supportive family-like environment.
Dr. Md. Enamul Haque, National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh, said: “Centro’s steadfast support has given hundreds of children from vulnerable communities access to quality early education and a nurturing start in life. We deeply value their commitment to investing in children’s futures.”
The MoU signing ceremony at the Centro Head Office was attended by senior officials and representatives from Centro, Alokanondo Foundation, and SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh, who reaffirmed their shared vision of creating lasting, positive change in the lives of children in need.
