Ayesha Akhter Jerin is a popular name in the hills by imitating or mimicking the voices of more than thirty characters including Mina cartoons, Shinchan, Doraemon, Sisimpur in Bengali, English and Hindi. She has become popular by imitating or mimicking the voices of cartoon characters.
Jerin, a third-year student of Manikganj Nursing College, is the daughter of retired BGB member Md. Amir Hossain of Master Para, Matiranga Municipality, Khagrachhari District, Pahari District.
In 2018, Jerin got admitted to Khagrachhari Government College for Higher Secondary with a GPA of 4.65 in SSC from Matiranga Girls High School. She passed in Higher Secondary in 2020 with a GPA of 5. She is the elder of two sisters. The younger sister is studying in a nursing college in Chittagong.
Since childhood, teachers and classmates did not understand Jerin's unclear pronunciation. School teachers would inform her guardian about the unclear pronunciation and ask her to teach her pronunciation and send her to school. But despite her many attempts, Jerin could not overcome the vagueness. Even though everything was fine at one stage, a strange consciousness and stubbornness arose in Jerin's mind. Jerin, who was ridiculed by her classmates for her voice, started dreaming of becoming established through mimicry.
Regarding the technique of mastering mimicry, Ayesha Akhter Jerin said, "I loved watching cartoons since childhood. When the different characters in the cartoons spoke, they seemed very interesting to me. That's where my interest started, and it gradually turned into a skill.
I developed the habit of mastering voices by watching different mimicry on YouTube and social media. Since last year, I can give voice to more than thirty cartoon characters including Shinchan, Doraemon, Mina Cartoon, Sisimpur's Ikri, Ninja Hattori.
