Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD) has signed an agreement with Runner Group to give students real-world industry experience and stronger career opportunities, underscoring UCBD’s commitment to ensuring employability, a press release said.
The MoU was signed recently at the head office of Runner Group in Tejgaon Industrial Area, Dhaka by Kingshuk Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, UCBD, and Kazi Mohammad Jafar Sadek, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Runner Group – on behalf of their respective organizations. Shah Yousha Ahmad, General Manager, Corporate Relations, STS Group, and Malobica Mahfuz, HR Business Partner, along with other senior representatives from RUNNER Group, attended the signing ceremony.
Through this partnership with Runner Group, UCBD students will be able to access internship opportunities, job placements, professional training, industry knowledge sharing sessions and exposure to real-world automotive and business projects. It will help the students learn about how workplaces work and how they can connect what they learn in classrooms to their work.
By bridging the gap between traditional classrooms and actual workplaces, this partnership pairs students with experienced professionals and helps them understand what to expect in their careers while they try to make their way into the industry.
