services and subscriptions, OneAI enables customers to seamlessly use AI across
a range of everyday needs, from learning and research to content writing,
coding and software development, creative work, AI image generation, document
analysis and summarization, and more, a press release said.
At an event held at GPHouse to commemorate Grameenphone’s
AI&I Day, Chief Guest Rehan Asif Asad, Advisor to the Prime Minister for
the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology,
officially announced the launch of OneAI on MyGP in presence of Grameenphone’s
Chief Executive Officer Yasir Azman, Grameenphone Management Team and

OneAI Limited.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Rehan Asif Asad,
Advisor to the Prime Minister for the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and
Information Technology, said, “We firmly believe in the potential of
Bangladesh’s digital economy and its role in driving the country’s next phase
of growth. As we work towards our ambition of building a trillion-dollar
economy by 2034, the role of AI cannot be overlooked. It is already reshaping
economies, industries and societies globally, and our ability to embrace and
harness its potential will be critical to Bangladesh’s progress. I am
encouraged to see Grameenphone taking the lead in making AI more accessible to
people through initiatives such as OneAI. For students in particular, this creates
an affordable way to access AI tools and use them to support learning, research
and skill development. I look forward to seeing how such initiatives contribute
to accelerating AI adoption and advancing Bangladesh’s digital transformation.”
Yasir Azman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of
Grameenphone, said, “This launch marks the next chapter of Grameenphone’s
broader AI&I journey. AI is no longer experimental for us. It is
increasingly embedded across our people, operations and customer experiences,
from autonomous networks and hyper-personalization to AI-powered customer
service. We believe the future belongs not to AI alone, but to people empowered
to use AI responsibly and meaningfully. As we build future-ready capabilities
within Grameenphone, we are also extending that ambition beyond our
organization. Through the integration of OneAI on MyGP, we are putting the
possibilities of AI directly into the hands of millions of our customers,
particularly students, making it simpler and more accessible for learning,
work, creativity and problem-solving. At the same time, through initiatives
such as Grameenphone Academy and FutureMakers, we are further enabling students
and learners to build AI skills and turn their innovative ideas into meaningful
solutions. Our ambition is to empower more people to harness AI responsibly,
helping shape a safer and smarter tomorrow for Bangladesh.”
Grameenphone users can access OneAI directly through the MyGP app and purchase a variety of packages using their mobile balance. Packages start at just BDT 71 per month for students, offering unlimited AI chat along with research, assignment, presentation and coding support.
