upay, the mobile financial service (MFS) of UCB Fintech Company Limited, a subsidiary of United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB), has signed a partnership agreement with CliniCall Limited to expand access to affordable and convenient digital healthcare services for upay customers, a press release said.
Through the partnership, upay customers will be able to access a range of healthcare services, including 24/7 telemedicine, digital prescriptions, specialist consultations, medicine delivery, laboratory test booking, hospital cashback and other healthcare benefits through the upay ecosystem. Selected digital healthcare services will also be made available through upay’s merchant network.
The agreement was signed by Shyamol B. Das, Managing Director & CEO of upay, and Parvez Ahmad, Co-Founder & COO of CliniCall, on behalf of their respective organisations.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both organisations. Representing upay were Md. Mahbub Sobhan, Chief Business Officer, and Sajjad Alam, Head of Corporate Sales. From CliniCall, Saad M. Milkan, Head of Business, and Shaba Shams, Head of Technology, attended the ceremony.
The partnership aims to make digital healthcare services more affordable, accessible and convenient for customers. It also marks another step towards expanding the range of everyday services available through the upay ecosystem, connecting digital financial services with greater access to healthcare.
