Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) Agragami Oikkojot
successfully hosted a special evening titled “Sufi Night & Dinner” on
Saturday, 13 June at convention hall in Nayapaltan, Dhaka, bringing together
valued members of the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) in an
atmosphere of cultural harmony, reflection, and professional unity ahead of the
upcoming TOAB elections.
The event was designed not only as a social gathering but also as
a meaningful platform to strengthen bonds within the tourism industry. In an
industry built on trust, collaboration, and hospitality, the evening
highlighted the shared commitment of stakeholders toward a more united and
progressive future for Bangladesh tourism.
Through soulful Sufi musical performances, a dinner gathering, and
informal interactions, the participants engaged in meaningful discussions on
the current landscape and future potential of the tourism industry. The
distinguished Panel Chief and Presidential Candidate, Mr. Dr. Taslim Amin
Shovon, along with other members, emphasized the importance of building a
strong, united, and sustainable tourism sector.
Representatives of TOAB Agragami Oikkojot emphasized that the
tourism industry of Bangladesh stands at a crucial stage where experienced
leadership, ethical practices, and collective effort are essential for
sustainable growth. They reaffirmed their commitment to work for transparency,
inclusivity, and industry development.
The gathering also served as a symbolic moment ahead of the TOAB
election, reinforcing the message of unity—where differences are set aside in
favor of shared goals and the long-term progress of the tourism sector.
Members of TOAB Agragami Oikkojot extended heartfelt gratitude to
all participants for their presence and sought their continued support in
strengthening Bangladesh’s tourism industry through the upcoming TOAB election.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Toufiq Uddin Ahmed,
former TOAB President and Group Chairman of Galaxy Bangladesh; Faridul Haque,
former President of TOAB and Chairman and Mentor, InnoGlobe; Sayed Ghulam
Mohammad, President of the Bangladesh Outbound Tour Operators Association
(BOTOA); Sayed Ghulam Qadir, Chief Editor of Travel Canvas; and Rezaul Ekram
(Razu), Founder President of BOTOA and Executive Director of the Bangladesh
Foundation for Tourism Development (BFTD). The occasion was also attended by
respected TOAB members and prominent stakeholders from the tourism industry,
whose presence added dignity and significance to the event.
The
event was moderated by senior journalist Mr. Pranab Saha, Chief Editor of
TravelBangla.com. The evening was expertly coordinated by the Chief Coordinator
and Deputy Coordinator of TOAB Agragami Oikkojot, Mr. Chowdhury Hasanuzzaman
Rony, President of BOTOF, and Mr. Abdullah Al Kafi, CEO of Bangladesh Vacation,
respectively.
