Dhaka : Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md.
Sakhawat Hossain has expressed dissatisfaction with the explanation submitted
by Ad-Din Hospital regarding a complaint filed against the institution, saying
the response contained excessive irrelevant information and failed to
adequately address the issues raised.
Speaking to reporters at the Secretariat on Wednesday, the
minister said he had reviewed the hospital’s written response but found it
lacking in substance.
“I have read the reply submitted by Ad-Din Hospital. It
contains many unnecessary narratives beyond the information that was required.
This is not acceptable to us,” he said.
The minister noted that the hospital’s response spanned
four to five pages but did not provide sufficient relevant details concerning
the complaint.
“There is more irrelevant information than necessary
information in the document. It is a very vague response, and I am not
satisfied with it,” he said.
Sakhawat Hossain added that the matter would be reviewed
further and that authorities would determine the next course of action
following discussions on the issue.
He said a meeting scheduled for later in the day would help
decide the government’s response and any subsequent measures. The government’s
position on the matter will be announced after a decision is reached, he added.
