Riyad Mohammad Chowdhury, Director of the Narayanganj Chamber of Commerce and Industries, has formally assumed charge as the Chairman of the Ad-hoc Managing Committee of Fatullah Pilot High School.
He took charge at a formal event held at the school on Sunday (August 23) at noon.
Members of the Ad-hoc Committee, including Member Secretary and Head Teacher Afroza Polin, Guardian Member Tushar Ahmed Mithu, and Teacher Representative Abu Saeed Munna, were present on the occasion.
After assuming his new responsibility, Riyad Mohammad Chowdhury addressed the teachers and students and said, “Fatullah Pilot High School is a reputed and historic educational institution. We must work together to improve the quality of education, maintain discipline and ensure a bright future for our students. Alongside academic education, we must give due importance to moral values, humanity and patriotism so that our students can grow into responsible and worthy citizens.”
He also stressed the importance of promoting sports alongside academic activities and said necessary initiatives would be taken so that the students of Fatullah Pilot High School could make greater achievements in sports.
He further said that teachers, guardians, students and all concerned with the school’s administration must work in close coordination to improve the overall environment and ensure the institution’s continued development. He sought cooperation from everyone in this regard.
Later, the newly appointed chairman inspected various activities of the school and exchanged views with teachers and students.
Teachers, students and distinguished guests present at the programme congratulated Riyad Mohammad Chowdhury and extended their warmest wishes to him on assuming the new responsibility.
Those present expressed hope that his leadership, experience and commitment to education would play an important role in improving the academic standards and infrastructure of Fatullah Pilot High School.
They wished Riyad Mohammad Chowdhury every success, good health and long life in his new responsibility, expressing the hope that the glory and progress of Fatullah Pilot High School would gain further momentum under his leadership.
