Presave Social Welfare Organization (PSWO) distributed 150 hybrid mango
saplings among students of Dushekh Institute in Jashore Sadar with the aim of
promoting environmental awareness, tree plantation and social responsibility
among the younger generation. The tree distribution programme was recently held
at the institute, with Sujon Sarker, Additional Deputy Commissioner
(General), Jashore, attending as the chief guest. Khairul Kabir
Chanchal, Chairman of Presave Social Welfare Organization and Kaas Trade,
chaired the programme. The event was conducted by Md. Rabiul Islam,
Executive Member of PSWO and Managing Editor of Daily Capitalviews. Other
executive members of the organization, members of the school management
committee, teachers and students were also present.A total of 150 hybrid
mango saplings were distributed among students of Classes IV and V, with
each participating student receiving one sapling. The initiative was designed
to encourage students to develop an interest in tree plantation and
environmental conservation while fostering a sense of responsibility for
creating a greener and healthier environment for future generations. Speaking
at the programme, Chief Guest Sujon Sarker appreciated PSWO for
organizing the initiative and praised its commitment to social and
environmental causes. He urged the students to take proper care of the saplings
they received and nurture them until they grow into mature trees. Addressing
the students, he emphasized that trees provide not only fruits and other
benefits but also play an important role in maintaining environmental balance
and supplying oxygen essential for human life. He encouraged the students to
understand that planting a tree is only the beginning and that regular care and
protection are equally important to ensure its survival and growth. Khairul
Kabir Chanchal, Chairman of PSWO, said the organization has been
implementing various social welfare initiatives as part of its commitment to
serving the community. He expressed his determination to continue environmental
initiatives and other programmes aimed at developing a sense of social
responsibility and love for nature among the younger generation.
