A meeting with the leaders of the Shippers Council of Bangladesh (SCB) and visiting Chinese representatives was held at the conference room of the council on Saturday, July 18, 2026 afternoon. At the meeting a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) titled “China - Bangladesh Cross-Border Healthcare Services Cooperation” was signed between Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh and the Chinese company Boyue Kangcheng (Beijing) Culture & Tourism Co. Ltd. SCB Chairman Md. Rezaul Karim and Chinese delegation leader Mr. Dehui Zhang signed the MoU, reports BSS.
The meeting was presided over by Chairman of the Shippers Council of Bangladesh. He said that through this agreement, Members and officials of the Shippers Council of Bangladesh and their immediate families will get the opportunity to receive advanced medical treatment and special financial concessions.
SCB’s Senior Vice Chairman Syed Md. Bakhtiar and Vice Chairman Ataur Rahman Khan along with Directors & others members of Chinese delegation also attended the meeting.
