EQMS Consulting Limited, a leading Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) consulting firm in Bangladesh, successfully hosted its 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at the CIRDAP CICC Auditorium Hall in Dhaka. The day-long event celebrated the company’s remarkable achievements over the past fiscal year, emphasized team unity, and outlined dynamic strategic blueprints for the future, a press release said.
A major highlight of the AGM was the company’s expanding global footprint. It was revealed that during the last fiscal year (FY 2025-26), EQMS successfully executed seven significant international mega-projects across multiple countries, including South Sudan, Tanzania, Kenya, Lesotho, The Gambia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Ethiopia, and Malawi. These global ventures have not only contributed to the national economy by bringing in valuable foreign currency but have also played a pivotal role in elevating Bangladesh’s reputation on the global stage. Through these initiatives, EQMS has successfully showcased the country’s rising expertise and capacity in the international environmental and ESG consulting sector.
The event commenced early in the morning with an inaugural session that welcomed new employees, conducted by Tauhidul Hasan, Executive Director of EQMS. Following the inauguration, heads of various departments presented comprehensive reviews of their departmental status, evaluating the yearly targets and achievements of FY 2025-26, and setting strategic goals for FY 2026-27. Reflecting the company’s strong collaborative culture, the schedule also featured dedicated department-wise team photos and a grand group photo of all members, fostering a deep sense of camaraderie among the staff.
The afternoon sessions were marked by visionary leadership addresses. Tauhidul Hasan, Executive Director, presented a detailed overview titled “EQMS Present Status & Future Plan,” providing a clear roadmap for the firm’s upcoming endeavors. The gathering reached its peak during the highly anticipated “Dream of EQMS” session, conducted by Kazi Farhed Iqubal, Managing Director of EQMS.
