Dr. Md. Ershad Hussain Rana, Chairman & CEO of Dawn Group, has been elected as President of the France Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFB) for a two-year term spanning 2026–2028.
Alongside the newly elected President, M. A. Reaz, Director (Business Development) of Expo Holdings (BD) Ltd. and Md. Jahangir Alam Sharker, Managing Director & CEO of 3i Logistics (Pvt.) Ltd., have been elected as Vice Presidents of the Chamber. Farzana Chowdhury of Abista FS Ltd. has been elected as Treasurer for the same tenure.
In addition to the elected office bearers, the Chamber’s 17-member Board includes 13 Board of Directors from leading business organizations. The Board Transition Ceremony was held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, immediately following the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), marking the formal handover of responsibilities to the newly elected leadership team.
The ceremony concluded with a luncheon providing an opportunity for networking and celebrating the Chamber’s continued commitment to strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations between France and Bangladesh.
