One of the most notable stigmatized chapters in present day Bangladesh is that the raped woman has to die a brutal death before the rapist. This extreme degradation of civilization is not only a crime it questions the conscience of the entire nation. In a country where women's safety is constantly disrupted, the development and independence of that country are bound to be gradually destroyed. The horror of rape in the present era is so intense that it does not only spare an adult woman but also an immature child. A newly grown child has to bet on the game of life and death at the age of being intoxicated by the game of the colorful world. Not only that, not even an adult woman is saved from this stigmatized chapter. Starting from the elderly, middle-aged women and even immature children, it is not desirable that they will be prematurely stormed by the sexual behavior of a man with a distorted brain. The insecure and fearful situation of women in such an independent state not only sends a sad message, it is also shameful for the entire nation. There can be no more violent mentality than the man who was conceived in the womb of his mother and saw the light of the world and then defiled the womb of another mother. How much brutal cruelty a woman has to endure. The answer to where half of the women in an independent state end up with such stigmatized terror is still unknown. However, rape becomes evident only when the judicial system of a state is shaken. In this case, the rapist does not get the appropriate punishment and commits the same act again. The security of a state depends on the proper implementation of the judicial system of that country. In the current context of Bangladesh, the rape rate is increasing mainly due to the inability to give the maximum punishment to rapists. As a result, the black chapter of rape of women is at the top of the news pages, starting from the media. In Bangladesh, the trial and punishment of child rape is mainly conducted under Section 9 of the Women and Children's Atrocities Prevention Act, 2000, which, as amended in 2025, considers sexual acts as rape, regardless of consent or non-consent, in the case of children. Any sexual act with or without consent with a child under the age of 16 is considered rape. If a child or woman is raped, the offender will be sentenced to death or life imprisonment and will also be fined. If the child victim dies or is seriously injured due to rape, the maximum punishment for the offender is death penalty. But the implementation rate of the law, which is nominally limited on paper and in the constitution, is very low. As a result, violent sexual behavior is born in the midst of this. A mentally deranged person does not spare his own mother, sister or daughter. For him, marriage from an old age is only the satisfaction of lust. All these criminals increase their speed towards injustice only when the justice system continues with the power of money or power. Everyone is equal in the eyes of the law, so whoever is a criminal, his punishment should be very swift and exemplary. The people who are on the side of the criminal should also be brought under punishment. So that in the future, no one dares to appeal for the criminal out of greed. Conscious citizens should be vocal about this issue. Not being able to stop injustice is the same as committing injustice. If we remain silent today, the burning flame of injustice that is happening in another room will undoubtedly happen to us at another time. Moreover, religious education and morality should be taught to reduce the degradation of social values. Children should be given basic knowledge and practical practice about good and bad behavior. Safe management should be made on the basis of administrative area so that women of all levels are safe. In this case, there is no alternative to CCTV cameras, additional police recruitment, identification of risky areas and taking action accordingly. Steps should also be taken to prevent drug addicts and juvenile gangs. Because the violence of a distorted brain gives rise to the poisonous boil called rapists. Parents should be vigilant so that no other family has to face such a cursed incident. There is a huge difference between having a law and its correct and prompt implementation. Due to the lengthy judicial process, weak investigation, and interference from influential circles, criminals largely get away with it. Statistics show that the conviction rate in cases of violence against women and children in the country is very negligible. The judicial process that has been hanging for years exhausts the victim's family and gives the criminals the courage to go out on bail and roam around with a full heart. This culture of impunity is the biggest influencer in creating new rapists. When one rapist after another is hanged, then the trust in the law will return to the minds of the common people. No one will try to take the law into their own hands. Therefore, the zero tolerance policy is not only on the pages of the law, but it needs to be implemented fairly now. In this way, the lust of violent beasts will not be able to devour any woman. Only the goodwill of the administration and the collective resistance of the people can provide a safe and stigma-free Bangladesh for mothers, sisters, and children in the future.
