Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC—a tech giant listed in the engineering sector of the country’s capital market—has set a unique precedent by swiftly distributing a 180 percent cash dividend to its institutional and general investors for the 2025-26 fiscal year. The company disbursed the approved cash dividends to investors’ accounts just one day after its Annual General Meeting (AGM), a press release said.

Md. During the meeting, the shareholders unanimously approved the Board of Directors’ proposal for a 180 percent cash dividend and a 10 percent stock dividend for the 2025-26 fiscal year. The approved cash dividends were credited to the investors’ respective bank accounts just one day later.

The Company Secretary noted that this rapid distribution was made possible by Walton’s technological excellence, operational efficiency, and dynamic management, combined with a strong liquidity position. Through this, Walton has established a unique benchmark in the country’s capital market.
