Salma Adil Foundation supports flood-affected students in Banshkhali Educational materials have been distributed to students affected by the worst floods in history in Banshkhali upazila of Chittagong. On the afternoon of August 22, the educational materials distribution program was held at two government primary schools in Banshkhali, funded by Salma Adil Foundation and managed by Banshkhali Times, a press release said. 

New school bags and guide books were handed over to flood-affected students of West Chechuria Ghonapara Government Primary School and Baritali Government Primary School in Banshkhali. The program, moderated by lecturer Jahedul Islam Tuku, was attended by Banshkhali Times editor Abu Obaida Arafat, poet Arkanul Islam, and Salma Adil Foundation representatives Imtiaz Uddin and Aqibul Haque. Banshkhali Press Club Member Secretary Mizan Bin Taher, West Chechuria Ghonapara Government Primary School Headmaster Asim Kumar Dey and Baritali Government Primary School Headmaster Md. Ashekur Rahman Chowdhury. The speakers at the event expressed their gratitude to the founder of Salma Adil Foundation, Lion Salma Adil, and said that Salma Adil Foundation has been conducting various humanitarian activities for a long time by supporting the distressed and helpless people. Since the recent terrible floods in Banshkhali, the foundation has been widely praised for conducting relief activities on a large scale. This initiative of distributing educational materials to the flood-affected students to continue their education is highly commendable. The joy and excitement among the flood-affected students can be seen after receiving new school bags and guide books. A smile of joy appeared on their faces after receiving the educational materials.
