The Annual Development Conference of Islami Bank Foundation (IBF) was held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at FARS Hotel & Resorts. Mohammad Zahir Hossain, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank—who also serves as the Chairman of Islami Bank Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC addressed the conference as the chief guest. K. M. Munirul Alam Al-Mamun, Executive Director of Islami Bank Foundation, presided over the event. Md. Altaf Hussain, Managing Director (Acting) of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, Mohammed Jamal Uddin Mazumder, Additional Managing Director, Md. Mahboob Alam, Deputy Managing Director and Md. Habibur Rahman Company Secretary of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC and members of IBF Committee addressed the program as special guests. Md. Anisul Haque, General Manager of IBF, delivered the welcome address, a press release said.

The conference focused on enhancing the quality of services and formulating future action plans for the various institutions managed by the Islami Bank Foundation. Special honors were awarded to officials who achieved desired targets in their respective fields. Officials and employees at various levels of the Islami Bank Foundation, along with physicians and representatives from healthcare institutions, attended the conference.
