Global AI device ecosystem company HONOR has officially launched the highly anticipated HONOR Robot Phone, a revolutionary, category-creating device that integrates a fully motorized gimbal directly into a premium smartphone design, a press release said.

Developed alongside the German cinema camera legend ARRI, the device goes beyond a traditional smartphone to serve as an active physical companion and a formidable mobile production studio.

The device features an advanced camera setup anchored by a Dual 200MP camera system, featuring a 200MP Agile Gimbal Main Camera, a 200MP Periscope Telephoto Camera with 2.7x optical zoom, and a 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera.

Built directly into the device, the 3-axis mechanical gimbal physically moves the camera module to absorb shakes and smooth out fast action shots. This motorized hardware stabilization ensures steady recording in any scenario. To make dynamic filming effortless, the camera arm supports professional movement modes such as Tilt Lock, First Person View (FPV), and AI SpinShot, helping users capture smooth cinematic footage without extra equipment.

By combining HONOR’s hardware innovation and ARRI colour science and imaging expertise, the device brings authentic film quality directly to everyday creators. Through its integrated features, ARRI’s cinematic technology intelligently balances bright highlights and deep shadows to preserve natural skin tones and rich visual detail.
