Guardian Life Insurance Limited has declared a policy bonus of Tk 63 per Tk 1,000 sum assured for its eligible life insurance policyholders for the year 2025, a press release said.

In life insurance, a policy bonus is an earned profit that an insurance company may provide to its policyholders. This bonus is generally provided based on the company’s profits. In addition to the regular benefits of the policy, policyholders receive this extra amount as a share of the company’s profits.

Guided by its “Customer First” philosophy, Guardian declared its first policy bonus in 2016. Since then, the company has consistently provided annual bonuses to all eligible policyholders.
