
Visa Inc. announced strong financial results for its fiscal third quarter ended June 30, 2026, demonstrating continued growth across revenue, earnings, and transaction activity. The quarter was driven by resilient consumer and business spending, alongside sustained momentum in consumer payments, commercial and money movement solutions, cross-border payments, and value-added services, a press release said.
For the quarter, GAAP net income totaled $5.6 billion, or $2.97 per share, representing year-over-year increases of 7% and 10%, respectively. Excluding special items and related tax impacts, non-GAAP net income reached $6.3 billion, or $3.32 per share, reflecting increases of 8% and 11%, respectively, compared to the prior year. On a constant-dollar basis, GAAP earnings per share increased approximately 9%, while non-GAAP earnings per share rose approximately 11%.

Net revenue for the fiscal third quarter reached $11.6 billion, an increase of 14% year over year, or 13% on a constant-dollar basis, supported by continued growth in payments volume, cross-border transactions, and processed transactions. Payments volume for the three months ended June 30, 2026 increased 10% year over year on a constant-dollar basis, while payments volume for the preceding quarter, on which service revenue is recognized, grew 9%.
Cross-border volume excluding transactions within Europe increased 12% year over year on a constant-dollar basis, while total cross-border volume rose 13%. Total processed transactions reached 71.7 billion, marking a 10% increase compared to the same period last year.
Across revenue categories, service revenue increased 14% to $4.9 billion, while data processing revenue rose 17% to $6.0 billion. International transaction revenue grew 6% to $3.9 billion, and other revenue increased 45% to $1.5 billion. Client incentives totaled $4.7 billion, up 18% year over year.
GAAP operating expenses were $4.8 billion, reflecting a 19% increase compared to the prior year, primarily driven by higher personnel expenses. Excluding special items, non-GAAP operating expenses increased 17%, mainly due to increased investments in marketing and personnel. As of June 30, 2026, Visa held $13.9 billion in cash, cash equivalents, and investment securities.
