Jalalabad Cantonment English School & College (JCESC) has reached a significant milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence by signing a partnership agreement with the British Council today. Under this collaboration, the institution will introduce the British Council’s Primary English Test and Secondary English Test to benchmark the language proficiency of its primary and secondary students, a press release said.

The agreement was signed during a prestigious ceremony at the JCESC campus in Sylhet. The event was attended by senior representatives from the British Council, the school Principal and Vice Principal, faculty members, guardians, and students from Class III to XII.

In addition to the primary and secondary assessments, the partnership establishes JCESC as an official IELTS Registration Centre, allowing students, teachers, and guardians to register for the IELTS exam conveniently through the institution.

The ceremony also featured an engaging presentation by Anika Bushra, Account Relationship Manager, British Council Bangladesh, which opened the floor for an interactive Q&A session. This allowed parents and students to interact directly with the British Council team and understand the long-term academic benefits of these assessments.
