Fresh US airstrikes have killed at least 14 people and injured 78 others across five provinces in Iran, according to the country's Health Ministry. The attacks began on Wednesday and targeted several locations, further escalating tensions between the two countries.

In a statement, Iran's Health Ministry said the casualties were caused by US air and missile strikes carried out in different parts of the country.

Meanwhile, the Iranian military claimed it launched a large-scale drone operation against US military facilities in Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain in response to the latest American attacks.

According to the military, the strikes targeted a US Patriot missile system in Kuwait, an early warning satellite antenna site in Qatar and a fuel storage facility used by the US military in Bahrain. Tehran said multiple types of drones were used in the operation.

In a separate statement, the Iranian Armed Forces warned that the objectives of the US administration would not succeed. The military said Iran would continue to defend the principles of the Islamic Revolution and vowed to continue its response until what it described as "final victory."
