DHAKA : National University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr ASM Amanullah today said the university will complete the process of making its official activities paperless within the next three months.

He said the use of e-files would be increased further alongside archiving old documents.

The VC made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a certificate distribution ceremony of a training workshop organized to enhance the university officials' technical and administrative skills at the university's Senate Hall today.

The Human Resources Development and Good Governance Office organized the training titled "Enhancing Technical and Administrative Skills of National University Officials," where certificates were distributed among 183 officials.

Prof Amanullah said changes must also be made to the university's administrative activities in line with technological advancements.

He said, "Those who have received master trainer training on e-files will have to work more actively in this regard. The old documents will be transferred to the archives. Such training programmes will continue."

"There is a need for regular training to enhance the skills of officials. If the skills acquired through training can be applied to work, the pace of administrative activities will increase and transparency in the workplace will also improve," he added.
