This time, Habib Azam has initiated the construction of a beautiful walkway and stairs on the other side of the entrance of the suspension bridge.
Manowara Begum, Rangamati District President of Bangladesh Women Chamber and local entrepreneur, highly praised the initiative and said, "Earlier, many women and children used to fall and get injured while walking because there was a dirt road here. Now, with this beautiful walkway, tourists can travel around very safely and comfortably. No one has come forward to develop tourism like this in the past."
In addition, a major problem for tourists in the suspension bridge area for a long time was the shortage of modern washrooms. Keeping in mind the extreme frustration and complaints of tourists, a state-of-the-art washroom has been constructed there, as a result of which local businessmen and tourists have expressed deep gratitude.

For the first time in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, an international standard view tower has been built in the Shimultali area adjacent to the passport office at the entrance to Rangamati city. Mehedi Hasan, a resident of Shimultali area, said, "People's interest in the view tower has skyrocketed even before it is launched. Once its work is fully completed, there will be a flood of tourists in this area. The licensing activities of the Rangamati Hill District Council are a major milestone in restoring discipline in the tourism industry of Sajek Valley, one of the main tourist centers of the country. The rules for issuing licenses for various business establishments including hotels, resorts in Sajek have been introduced on the special initiative of District Council member Habib Azam.
Alamgir Hossain, a local resident and prominent businessman of Baghaichhari, praised the timely move and said, "Due to this initiative, all the businesses in Sajek have now come under a specific set of rules and regulations, which has brought a structural change in the overall tourism sector."

A modern passenger shelter cum washroom has been constructed in the Fisherighat area of the city. This ghat is the main speedboat ghat for travel to Longadu and Baghaichhari upazilas.
