A management meeting was held in Narayanganj Sadar Upazila on Tuesday to review the progress and implementation of ongoing development projects under the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED).
The meeting was held at the Sadar Upazila conference room at 4:00pm, with Upazila Engineer Yasir Arafat Rubel in the chair. LGED Narayanganj Executive Engineer Arifur Rahman attended as the chief guest.
The meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing projects and discussed measures to ensure their timely completion while maintaining quality and compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
Speaking at the meeting, Upazila Engineer Yasir Arafat Rubel urged all concerned to complete the projects within the stipulated timeframe and ensure quality through effective coordination.
Chief guest Executive Engineer Arifur Rahman emphasised the importance of maintaining Time, Cost and Quality in implementing development projects. He called upon the officials and other stakeholders to strictly follow government rules and ensure proper coordination for smooth implementation.
Economic Operator Mizanur Rahman also presented field-level issues and shared views on the implementation of ongoing development works.
The meeting also discussed the overall progress of various LGED development activities in Sadar Upazila and identified necessary measures for their timely and effective implementation.
LGED officials and employees, local economic operators and other concerned persons attended the meeting.
