Apollo Hospitals Chennai, in collaboration with Apollo Clinic Dhanmondi, Dhaka (Licensee: JMI Specialized Hospital PLC), organized an International Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program for Doctors on Sunday (19 July 2026), a press release said.
The event brought together nearly 100 Bangladeshi medical students, postgraduate residents, and consultant physicians to exchange knowledge with internationally renowned experts in robotic urology, laparoscopic surgery, and endoscopic procedures.
The CME program was held at the premises of Apollo Clinic Dhanmondi and featured two scientific sessions titled “Advantages of Robotics in Prostate and Renal Tumors” and “Laparoscopic Adrenalectomy in the Modern Era”.
The keynote presentations were delivered by Dr. Deepak Raghavan, Senior Consultant and Robotic Urology Surgeon, Apollo Hospitals Chennai, and Prof. Dr. Md. Nasir Uddin (Kajol), Senior Consultant, Department of Urology, Apollo Clinic Dhanmondi.
The program was moderated by Dr. Tamjeed Alam, Chief Executive Officer of Apollo Clinic Dhanmondi.

The clinic further reported a surgical site infection (SSI) rate of less than 1%, reflecting its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care.
