One of the largest events in the country's housing sector, "Rehab Summer Fair-2026", will be held from August 12 to 15, 2026. This announcement was made after the first meeting of the Standing Committee for Press and Media (2026-2028) of the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) today (Monday).
The first meeting of the Standing Committee for Press and Media (2026-2028) was held today (Monday) at 5 pm in the meeting room of the REHAB Secretariat (7th floor). The meeting was presided over by Committee Chairman and REHAB Director Tasnova Mahbub Salam.
In the meeting, Chairman Tasnova Mahbub Salam presented the detailed work plan of the Standing Committee for Press and Media (2026-2028), strengthening coordination with the media, positive promotion of REHAB's activities, increasing presence on digital platforms, information-based communication, prevention of rumors and future programs.
In the meeting, REHAB President Dr. Ali Afzal highlighted the importance of the media and said that there is no alternative to responsible and positive media in developing the housing sector, planned urbanization and delivering accurate information to the common people. He emphasized the active role of the Standing Committee for Press and Media in presenting REHAB's activities to the public more effectively.
In the meeting, REHAB Senior Vice President Abdur Razzak, Vice President (3) A. F. M. Obaidullah, Vice President (Finance) Dr. Md. Harun Or Rashid, Co-Chairman of the Standing Committee for Press and Media Touhida Sultana, M. Chakhawat Hossain and Mohammad Mobarak Hossain, members of the Standing Committee for Press and Media M. Mominul Islam Sangram, Shamima Alam, Engineer Sanjay Chakraborty, Sharif Uddin Ahmed, Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury and Md. Asaduzzaman were present. All those present at the meeting discussed various important issues in the light of their own experiences and offered constructive opinions, suggestions and recommendations to make the activities more fruitful.
In the meeting, various action plans were taken to successfully organize the upcoming Rehab Summer Fair-2026, conduct extensive publicity, effectively coordinate with the media and highlight the positive image of the housing sector.
It is worth noting that the Rehab Summer Fair-2026 will be held at the Shaheed Abu Sayeed International Conference Center in Dhaka from 12 to 15 August 2026. The country's leading real estate institutions, various housing-related institutions and financial sector institutions will participate in this four-day fair. At the fair, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about various housing projects, flats, plots, home loan facilities, and investment-related information under one roof.
