Precise PetLab Diagnostics & Hospital Ltd., a specialized veterinary hospital in Gulshan, Dhaka, is celebrating its first anniversary today with an event at its premises, where it is also launching a mobile app. The app will make it easier for pet owners to access the hospital’s services and their pet’s medical records, a press release said.
The celebration is being held at Rubaiyat House, House No. 15, Road No. 24, Gulshan-2, Dhaka, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The programme begins with a floral welcome and introduction of guests, followed by a presentation on the hospital’s facilities and innovations, a guided facility visit, and a feedback session in which guests are invited to share their views and suggestions.
Precise PetLab opened to the public on 25 August 2025 with a clear purpose: to give pet owners timely and accurate diagnosis, dependable emergency support, and treatment guided by established medical standards. Veterinary healthcare in Bangladesh is still not fully equipped to meet these needs, so the hospital has focused on standardized emergency protocols, advanced diagnostics, and practice aligned with international guidelines.
The anniversary is an occasion to recognize the team behind this progress, introduce the hospital’s facilities to guests, and gather feedback to guide its next phase of growth. The launch of the mobile app is the day’s key announcement. Through the app, owners will be able to book appointments from home, reach the hospital quickly in an emergency, and view their pet’s medical records on their phone. This will make care easier to access and more continuous from one visit to the next. For the hospital, it will be a direct way to follow up on patients and hear from clients.
Sadia Zareen Shampa, Managing Director of Precise PetLab, said, “Through the implementation of our organization’s programmes and initiatives, we are committed to ensuring the welfare, health, and protection of all animals across the country, whether stray, domestic, or wild.”
Precise PetLab is Bangladesh’s first 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital with a dedicated emergency unit. It has remained open for 504 consecutive days up to 30 October, without closing even for a moment. It is also the only veterinary hospital in the country with a dedicated emergency unit, advanced ICU, automatic ventilation and critical care. With 15,000 square feet of space and 30 doctors, it is the largest veterinary hospital in Bangladesh.
In its first year, the hospital has served more than 4,000 appointments, attended to 1,364 emergency clients, and performed over 800 surgeries, earning the trust of pet lovers across Dhaka.
As it enters its second year, Precise PetLab remains committed to strengthening its clinical capabilities, developing its people, and raising the standard of pet healthcare in Bangladesh.
