AKIJ Mediplex Limited and KNS Canada (BD) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at diagnosis and assessment of chronic liver diseases. The MoU was signed recently (October 13) at the diagnostic and consultation centre of the AKIJ Mediplex at Mirpur of the capital. Moreover, a scientific workshop on FibroScan technology was held to enhance physicians’ knowledge and skills in the modern diagnosis, a press release said.
At the event, Dr Tasrina Rahman, Director of KNS Canada (BD), presented a paper titled “FIBROSCAN – The Platform for the Diagnosis of the Consequences of Chronic Liver Diseases.” Her presentation highlighted the role and significance of FibroScan technology in evaluating liver health, identifying complications associated with chronic liver diseases and supporting the diagnosis and management of chronic liver diseases. She also discussed how this advanced diagnostic technology can help evaluate liver conditions.
The session was attended by Abu Zafor Iqbal Ahamed, Chief Business Officer of AKIJ Mediplex Limited, consultants, and other senior officials of the organisation.
Through this initiative, AKIJ Mediplex Limited and KNS Canada (BD) reaffirmed their commitment to knowledge sharing in the medical field, raising awareness of advanced diagnostic technologies and ensuring improved healthcare services. Both organisations expressed their intention to continue working together to enhance the skills of medical professionals and promote the adoption of innovative diagnostic technologies.
