The central theme of this year’s summit is ‘Accelerating Digital Transformation to Build a Secure, Resilient, and Interconnected Digital Economy.’

Organizers stated that the first day of the summit (Monday, October 5) will feature the arrival of international delegates, the ASOCIO Board Meeting, the General Assembly, and a welcome dinner. Representatives from ASOCIO member economies, government officials, tech entrepreneurs, international guests, and representatives from various organizations will participate in these events.
BCS President Mohammad Jahirul Islam and Secretary General Muhammad Monirul Islam will participate in the ASOCIO Board Meeting. The organizers further announced that the formal inauguration of the ‘ASOCIO Digital Summit 2026’ will take place on Tuesday, October 6. The first phase of the digital and AI exhibition will also commence on the same day. Throughout the day, discussions will cover topics such as digital transformation, digital strategy, digital finance, digital identity, cross-border trust, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure through keynote speeches, plenary panels, breakout sessions, and fireside chats.
Notable sessions scheduled for the day include ‘Boardroom Digital Strategy: Where CEOs and CIOs Should Place Their Bets’, ‘Digital Finance, Identity, and Cross-Border Trust’, and ‘Digital Infrastructure and Cloud Sovereignty’. Additionally, a special discussion on ‘From Digital Transformation to Trusted AI’ will be held.
The ‘ASOCIO Awards 2026’ and ‘ASOCIO Digital AI Awards 2026’ ceremonies will take place on the evening of Tuesday, October 6. The award presentation will be followed by a celebratory dinner, networking opportunities, and media interactions.
On Wednesday, October 7—the final day of the conference—the ‘ASOCIO AI Summit’ will be held. Discussions will focus on AI research, skills development, responsible AI, AI governance, and the role of artificial intelligence in the future economy. Sessions titled ‘From Foundation Models to AI Nations’ and ‘From AI Experiments to AI Factories’ are also on the agenda.
Furthermore, discussions will address building an AI ecosystem in the Asia-Oceania region, transitioning from national strategies to regional cooperation, cybersecurity, skilled workforce exchange, and cross-border collaboration on startups and investments. The second phase of the AI exhibition, a showcase of innovators and award winners, and a pitch networking session will also take place on this day. At this three-day international conference, policymakers, technologists, industry representatives, entrepreneurs, and innovators—along with delegates from ICT organizations representing 24 economies across the Asia-Oceania region—will gather to discuss various aspects of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, technological innovation, cybersecurity, and regional cooperation.
