DHAKA : With the aim of further strengthening the country’s security, workplace safety, and emergency response capabilities, the 2nd International Security Expo 2026 and Occupational Safety, Health & Fire Expo 2026 will be held from September 17 to 19, 2026, at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, a press release said.

The three-day International Security Expo 2026 and Occupational Safety, Health & Fire Expo 2026, being organized for the second time, are jointly being organized by i-Station Limited, a technology products and services provider in Bangladesh, and the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), the trade association of information technology businesses. The exhibitions will continue until Saturday, September 19.

The two international exhibitions, being held simultaneously and organized by the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) and i-Station Limited, will showcase the latest technologies and solutions in security technology, fire safety, workplace safety, emergency response, risk management, and compliance with international standards and regulations.

The organizers said that approximately 150 leading brands from 10 countries are expected to participate in the three-day event. They also expect around 5,000 trade visitors to attend the exhibitions.

According to the organizers, the exhibitions will become an important international gathering for Bangladesh’s rapidly evolving security and workplace safety sectors. The event will create new opportunities for business communication and technology exchange between local and international companies.

Mr. Mohammad Zahirul Islam, President of BCS, said, “Ensuring a strong and modern security system is extremely important for a safe and technology-driven future. At present, security risks are also increasing alongside the rapid development of technology. Therefore, in addition to establishing effective security systems at the individual, organizational, and national levels, the use of modern technology must also be increased.”

He further said, “Various local and international companies will showcase their latest technologies and innovative products at this exhibition. As a result, visitors will have the opportunity to learn directly about new technologies and gain an understanding of their applications and potential.”

Speaking about the event, Madhu Sudan Saha, Managing Director of i-Station Limited, said, “The International Security Expo 2026 will showcase the latest technologies and products for security and safety management. These will include surveillance and monitoring systems, cybersecurity, access control, biometric technology, security software, networking switches, digital vaults, and various modern security equipment and solutions for both the government and private sectors.”

He said, “The use of smart and connected technologies in the management of various organizations and infrastructure is currently growing rapidly. In this context, the exhibition will provide organizations and businesses with an opportunity to learn about modern security technologies as well as to make their own security systems more effective and stronger. On the other hand, the Occupational Safety, Health & Fire Expo 2026, being held simultaneously, will showcase various modern solutions for industrial and workplace safety.”

The exhibition will feature Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), industrial safety, fire detection and protection systems, emergency response, risk management, workplace health and safety, and technologies and products related to international safety and compliance standards.

As rapid industrialization, urbanization, and infrastructure development continue in the country, the importance of modern technology and effective management in ensuring workplace safety and addressing fire risks is also increasing day by day. This exhibition will serve as an important platform for the industrial sector to explore new technologies and solutions to meet these needs.
