The 11th BAPA FoodPro International Expo 2026 will begin on Thursday at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka. The three-day exhibition, focusing on food processing and packaging technologies, will continue until 12 September, a press release said.

The exhibition will remain open to all visitors from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on 10 and 11 September, and from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM on 12 September. Alongside displays of food products and technologies, the event will feature technical sessions, seminars and practical activities attended by entrepreneurs, experts and representatives of technology companies from the sector.

The Bangladesh Agro-Processors’ Association (BAPA) and Rainbow Exhibition and Event Management Services Limited (REEMS) are jointly organizing the exhibition.

The organizers shared the details at a press conference held on Tuesday at the BAPA office in Sobhanbagh, Dhaka. Among those present were BAPA President Mahbub Anam, General Secretary Syed Muhammad Shoaib Hasan,Chairman of the Expo Organizing Committeeand CEO of PRAN-RFL GroupAhsan Khan Chowdhury and Treasurer of BAPA Minhaj Ahmed. Representatives of BAPA, the Expo Organizing Committee and REEMS also attended the press conference.

The organizers said that more than 200 brands from 27 countries will participate in this year’s exhibition. More than 24,000 visitors are expected to attend the event over the three days.

Participating companies will showcase advanced technologies related to processing, filling, packaging, coding and marking, labelling, quality inspection, warehousing, cold chain and logistics. The exhibition will place particular emphasis on AI-powered automation, machine vision, robotics, smart factory systems, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), advanced processing machinery, and sustainable packaging materials and designs. More than 4,000 technology and machinery-based solutions will also be presented.

Participating countries include Algeria, Australia, Bangladesh, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Türkiye, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.

More than 100 expert speakers and industry leaders will take part in regional conferences, seminars and practical activities during the three-day event.

Mahbub Anam, President of BAPA said, “The adoption of modern technology is essential for advancing Bangladesh’s agro-processing and food-processing sectors. This exhibition will introduce entrepreneurs to newtechnologies and play an important role in expanding investment, production and exports.”

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman of the Expo Organizing Committee and Chief Executive of PRAN-RFL Group, said, “Current business uncertainties are encouraging industrial enterprises to accelerate the development of their technological capabilities. BAPA FoodPro International Expo 2026 will enable companies to connect with the technologies, partners and industry insights they need. The event will play an important role in improving efficiency and developing sustainable operations across the entire value chain, from production and processing to packaging, warehousing and logistics.”

The Food Ingredients Bangladesh Expo 2026 will also be held at the same venue. It will showcase functional foods and beverages, nutraceuticals, alternative proteins, plant-based formulations and sustainable food ingredients.

Other features of the exhibition will include the Session Stage, FP Gourmet, Drinksphere, the Global Food Security and Technology Forum, and the Creative Design Village.
