Daffodil Computers PLC and Leading University, Sylhet, have signed an agreement for the development and implementation of an integrated University Management System (UMS), marking another significant step toward the digital transformation of higher education in Bangladesh. The agreement was signed during a ceremony held at the Leading University campus on 1 July 2026, a press release said.
Under the agreement, Daffodil Computers PLC will develop and deploy a comprehensive University Management System that will automate and integrate the university’s core academic and administrative operations. The platform will include Student Admission, Course and Curriculum Management, Results and Examination Management, Faculty and Human Resource Management, Financial Management, and other essential institutional processes through a unified digital ecosystem.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Syed Ragib Ali, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Leading University; Syed Abdul Hye, Vice Chairman; Professor Dr. Mohammed Taj Uddin, Vice-Chancellor; along with the Deans of different faculties and Heads of Departments. Representing Daffodil Computers PLC were H M Forhad, Head of Product and Solution, and Mazharul Islam Masum, Head of the Technical Team.
The agreement was formally signed by H M Forhad, Head of Product and Solution of Daffodil Computers PLC, and Md. Mofizul Islam, Registrar of Leading University.
The partnership is expected to strengthen the university’s digital infrastructure by improving operational efficiency, transparency, data management, and service delivery. The initiative also reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to advancing technology-driven education and institutional excellence in Bangladesh.
