Products from Fresh Super Mart, the retail chain of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), are now available on foodi, a popular food and grocery delivery platform, allowing customers to order a wide range of products from the comfort of their homes, a press release said.
A partnership agreement was recently signed at foodi’s head office by foodi CEO Md Shahnewaz Mannan and Mir Abdul Hafiz, AGM, Supply Chain and Business Development, Fresh Super Mart Limited, on behalf of their respective organisations.
Under the partnership, foodi’s technology and delivery network will be used to make various everyday products from Fresh Super Mart available to customers more easily and quickly through its instant delivery service.
Customers can order products through the foodi app from 10 Fresh Super Mart outlets in Dhaka. The outlets are located in Motijheel, Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka University, Mirpur 10, Mirpur 11, Pallabi, Uttara Centre, Uttara North C Gate, Uttara North D Gate and Gulshan 1.
foodi CEO Md Shahnewaz Mannan said, “One of foodi’s key goals is to deliver everyday essentials to customers quickly and conveniently. Through this partnership with Fresh Super Mart, customers will have access to a wider variety of products along with faster delivery. With Fresh Super Mart products now available on foodi, customers can order their everyday essentials directly through the app, making daily shopping easier and more time efficient for urban consumers.”
The signing ceremony was attended by foodi Manager Hridita Shawon, Assistant Manager HM Nawroz Morshed Evan, Assistant Manager Syed Abdullah Al Baki, Fresh Super Mart Manager, Operations, Mohammad Abdus Salam, and Senior Executive Md Al Amin.
Fresh Super Mart, MGI’s retail chain, officially began operations in June this year with the aim of making everyday shopping easier and faster for urban consumers. Its outlets offer a wide range of products, including dairy and frozen food, essential grocery items, household products, health and hygiene products, cosmetics and over the counter medicines.
The in-store cafes at Fresh Super Mart outlets also offer customers coffee and a variety of snacks. Alongside Fresh branded products, the outlets also carry products from a range of local and international brands.
