DHAKA : PepsiCo Bangladesh Private Limited has signed an
agreement with MetLife Bangladesh to provide insurance coverage for its
employees and their dependents in Bangladesh.
Under this partnership, employees and their dependents
will receive financial protection against accidents, disabilities, and loss of
life, along with in patient, out patient, and maternity insurance coverage.
The agreement was signed by Pranav Mehta, Managing
Director of PepsiCo Bangladesh Private Limited, and Mohammad Kamruzzaman,
Assistant Managing Director & Chief Corporate Business Officer, on behalf
of their respective organizations.
PepsiCo selected MetLife as its insurance provider due to
MetLife’s consistent track record in claims settlement, customized solutions,
advanced digital dashboard, cashless hospitalization and ambulance services,
and strong financial position, which enables faster and hassle free claims
payments. MetLife settled BDT 2,853 crore in claims in 2025 and BDT 1,384 crore
in the first six months of 2026, both the highest in the life insurance
industry.
