Students can pay tuition, hall and other academic fees conveniently through upay
upay, the mobile financial service (MFS) of UCB Fintech company limited, a subsidiary of United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB), has signed an agreement with Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET) recently to enable students to pay tuition, hall and other academic fees digitally through upay, a press release said.
Under the agreement, DUET students will be able to make different types of academic payments through upay, offering them a faster, easier and more accessible way to pay university fees.
The agreement was signed at a ceremony attended by senior representatives from both organisations. From DUET, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Iqbal, Vice Chancellor; Dr. Md. Mostaqur Rahman, Registrar (Additional Charge); Dr. Md. Zakir Hossain, Comptroller (Additional Charge); and Dr. Utpal Kumar Das, Director, Students’ Welfare Office, were present.
Representing upay were Hasan Mohammad Zahid, Head of Govt. Sales; Sajjad Alam, Head of Corporate Sales; and Khandkar Tahsin Faruque, Assistant Regional Manager, Retail Business.
The partnership reflects upay and DUET’s shared commitment to expanding convenient digital payment options in education and providing students with a seamless way to manage their academic payments.
